Breath in the Crack. On a canvas of dark red rough texture, an irregular black crack runs through the center. Faint warm light seeps through the crack, where a tiny square human figure (with head, torso and limbs all in simple geometric blocks, four limbs propping against the surrounding cracks, and a green sprout on the figure's head) can be vaguely seen curled up inside. Outside the crack are scattered a few scraped gold threads and color patches, like broken clouds. With extreme light and shadow, delicacy and ruggedness coexist. Heaven, earth, human and scenery are condensed into a single crack, with restrained narrative. No text.
